![]() Choosing the right VPN can be a daunting task, but by the end of this review, you'll have a clearer understanding of whether Surfshark is the perfect fit for you. However, I don't believe SS will ever care because you have protected yourself with your terms and conditions.Welcome to my in-depth review of Surfshark VPN! with my comprehensive research, I'll dive into the features, pros, and cons of Surfshark, and also compare it to other VPN providers in the market. So, maybe SS need to change their developer team to a team that understand how to protect people and produce an app that ACTUALLY works. MOST people will rely on your app and surf away, thinking they are being protected, yet in reality, they probably aren't at all because the app they rely on is, in fact, failing them. Yet you look at the app, and it STILL states connected and protected. The biggest issue is, the fact that the SS app makes toi believe you are connected and protected, in reality if you actually do a test via, your sites and other DNS test sites, in fact everyone I've tried gives the same results, then OVER 50% of the time they all report leaks.I feel that, along with MANY others who constantly get leaks that it is an SS issue, and it's not 100% with everyone. ![]() I've reset my network many times on the instructions of your developers and so-called sharks, and I have also reset my phone/tablet, etc, and STILL gey leals ![]() So IF what you are saying is correct, then EVERYONE out there must have changed their DNS, and trust me, my family won't even know how to! It's a public network, mobile network, works networks, friends, and family networks. It's NOT just my network that I get this issue. YOUR developers and so-called sharks say different and have had me change DNS servers from auto to your DNS Most of have slow startups for some reasons as an example. In comparison to other competitors Surfsharks app is still middle of the field there are worse ones but also better ones. While the surfshark app even takes on a r7 5700x and a nvme a while it also loads a nvidia 3080 up to 2-7% when it's open which is ridiculous to compare that's literarily some old full 3d games which is just crazy. You just see how fast the vpn connects with the wireguard app its near instant literarily you start your pc the desktop loads and bam it's connected. The app got tons of potential to get fixed and or optimized and specially improved. The app is a convoluted mess of different systems it even uses third party stuff like the" non sucking service manager "and stuff, polling every half second multiple fonts, writing in multiple areas app logs and more. If lost count, not of how many times I've tried the same changes they have recommended, only to report the same issues.ĭo yourself a favour, STAY SAFE, STAY AWAY FROM SURFSHARK, or be prepared to be wasting time checking ALL the timeĭon't have any leaks with the app to be honest.īut I don't trust the app being stable and with that secure ( as in it could leak when it crashes like for me the background services crashed but the killswitch still worked so that's atleast something). No matter what test site you try, it's reporting leaks yet revert back to OpenVPN and jet, hey, no issues.īest thing is, surfshark will have you believe that there is no issue with their app at all and have you go round and round and round, trying all the same stuff because they ACTUALLY don't have a clue what they are doing. If you connect manually via OpenVPN or the wireguard app (not personally tried wireguard but believe it's trusted by many), there are no issues, but soon as you reconnect via their app, boom! Leak, leak leak. Their app leaks your data all the time.Įvery time you connect the VPN, do you leave it and trust you are surfing safely? Chances are Everything you do online is being leaked. How many people out there actually trust SS? Everything about their service is false? They don't care about you or your protection.
